On June 30th, 1993, over 150 volunteers showed up at the Circle X Ranch to help rebuild it. They were our very first Swell Squad! In addition to help volunteering at our Camp for All Program,
Today, the Swell Squad is made up of a group of like-minded, creative, dynamic individuals and young professionals who help bring the best of LA to our youth! We meet once a month, and our fun gatherings are full of vital, great conversation, and brain-storming good times!
We also love to volunteer-TOGETHER!
The Swell Squad helps to create enriching and awesome opportunities for the youth we serve, such as exclusive movie screenings, tech field trips and, generally, inspiring our youth by involving them in their local community through a variety of innovative events.
Swell Squad members also help raise awareness about the CLF’s work, raise funds through inspired corporate partnerships, ignite interest by helping to get their schools, businesses and companies involved, and plan their own, brilliant fundraising events!
The Swell Squad aims to have a GREAT time while doing GOOD!
