The Children's Lifesaving was thrilled to host our third "SPIRIT OF GIVING" Champagne Brunch and Fundraiser on May 6th, and what a great afternoon it was! Thank you so much to our inspiring and wonderful speakers: Lou La Monte, CA State Senator Henry Stern, Harriett Rossetto, Rabbi Judith HaLevy and Susan Stiffelman for joining us, and making the day so extraordinary. A few amazing CLF teens and young adults spoke very poignantly, as well! Thank you so much to Mario Arevalo, Kori Early, Nasir Grisom and Giovanni De Leon for your brave and wonderful words. (We also learned that Nasir, a high school senior, will be going to CORNELL in the fall! He will be receiving a scholarship to help him along with your help.) Thank you to all of our friends who came out and joined us and donated, and thank you to L'Oreal Paris for the amazing gift bag swag! Also VERY special thanks to Elyse La Vine and her family and and Barry Brooker and Grindstone Entertainment for making this day really happen. WE LOVE YOU ALL . :)
