Summer Surf Camp for All is Back!

We have had a great season of Surf Camp for All! Thank you to our partners at the City of Malibu and Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation for specific funding for Camp for All and their continued support, as well as our wonderful funders providing year-round, operational support to make these programs possible. We have been able to hire our amazing friend the Might Underdogs as our gifted Surf Instructors, and partnered with Create Now and terrific arts volunteer Nick Zakari for an Art on the Beach project this year! Althoughg many of the agnecies we normally serve were not fully in session this session, we still had a great summer season of Surf Camp for All at beautiful Zuma Beach in Malibu…

Youth from Operation Progress LA, Covenant House and the West Valley Boys & Girls Club joined us this year, and it was AWESOME! Surfing and being comfortable in the ocean is a natural confidence-booster, and the instantaneous mentorship and support provided by our Surf Instructors can almost guarantee life-lasting, and life-changing, memories for the youth we serve.
