The CLF has joined with the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, to start the first
“CLF Challenge” on September 14th, 2008! The CLF will be putting
together a team of 50 participants and teams for this year’s race and
we will provide coaching, motivation and other surprises- AND
Michael Chiklis wants YOU (is actually telling you, really!) to sign up
NOW! The CLF has Fifty Special Reserve spots, which are filling up
quickly, so you need to sign up soon… And PLEASE- DO NOT
WORRY if you have never done a triathlon before- we will help train &
support your efforts before the Big Day!
Here is how it works:
-You gather up a Team, or agree to do the ENTIRE Tri yourself
(you wonder athlete, you!)
-One Team can be comprised of up to three people- to rally off the
swimming, biking and running segments of the Triathlon.

1. SIGN UP for the Nautica Malibu Tri HERE. ($150 fee goes directly to the Malibu Tri, which will also get you a
great Nautica T-Shirt)
2. START your Team’s (or your very own) web page HERE! You can also send out request for pledge e-mails to
your friends and family, and compete with other Teams, as well, to see who will rise to the CLF Challenge,
and raise the most funds possible!
3. Prepare to start kicking some butt and training with us, if you wish, in mid- June. Training Schedule.
while you prepare for the 1/2 mile swim, 18 mile bike and 4 mile run!
We will be swimming weekly at UCLA pool, and running and biking weekly at__(TBA)______.
Swim Training & running at Zuma Beach will begin in August.
